Application of MTM Medium Speed Trapezium Mill

It is mainly used for grinding mineral products in such industries as metallurgical industry, building, chemical industry, mine, etc. The MTM Series can be used for grinding all kinds of nonflammable and non-explosive minerals of which Moh’s hardness and moisture content are lower than 9 and 6% respectively.

Rules of Operation of MTM Medium Speed Trapezium Grinder Mill

Before starting the grinder, to check all the doors and ensure they are closed properly, to check and ensure the jaw crusher is open wide enough for the raw materials, to adjust and ensure the speed of the Classifier is suitable to the required specification of powder-products.

Then to start the operation in the following sequence:

1. To start the bucket elevator.

2. To start the jaw crusher.

3. After the storage is filled with stuff waiting for process, to start the Classifier.

4. To start the blower (first without load, then with load added).

5. To start the grinder, immediately to start the electrical-magnetic vibrating feeder.

So the whole set is operating. "Start", Elevator→Crusher →Classifier → Blower →Grinder Feeder Turn-off procedures:

1. To stop the feeder.

2. About one minute later, to stop the grinder.

3. after blowing al the leftovers, to turn off the blower.

4. Last to turn off the Classifier.

Beware Turn-off Procedure: Feeder→ Grinder→ Blower→ Classifier

If there are some reserves in the storage, the jaw crusher should be switched off before the elevator.

This rule depends of the amounts of the reserve in the storage. During the operation, adding grease is permitted for sake of safety.

In case of any abnormal noises from any parts of the set and the sudden increase of load, the operation should be stopped, the equipment checked, and the troubles got rid of, in order to prevent any accidents.

Maintenance and Repair of MTM Medium Speed Trapezium Grinder Mill

1. Prior to installation of the equipment, all the people who will be assigned to operate the equipment have to be technically trained to know the principle and rules of operation. Someone should be specially selected and put in charge of the operation.

2. To ensure normal operation of the equipment, a manual containing strict rules and procedures for its operation, maintenance and repair should be well prepared and followed. Tools, replacement parts for maintaining, repairing and lubricating oil and grease must be available for immediate use.

3. After a period of usage, the equipment should be checked, to replace worn-and-torn parts such as rollers, rings and shovels. Be sure to fasten connecting-bolts, nut collars to fix rollers properly. Be sure to lubricate the parts sufficiently.

4. Roller should be replaced after 500-hours use. To check bearing in them and replace broken ones, and then fill enough oil and grease (with oil-pump or grease-gun).
